Do you like them, or are they annoying? Are they overused/abused? Should we limit the number of public announcements allowed per user?

I think they shouldn't be limited. They can be overused/abused/annoying, but then you just ignore them.

I don't mind them. They are kind of neat. It didn't work for me when I was "testing it."

At this stage of membership, I don't find it annoying or too frequent, I've only seen uh two, I think. It's kinda cute, I spose in the future it could get annoying, but it's an interesting feature I haven't seen on any other websites, so I'm liking it, you have to see people using it to get a feel for its potential.
