Hi all,
I have a question...it cold be totally off the wall, as I honesly don't now much about how the brain works. If diagnosed early (6-12 months) and immersed in all the available therapy and help, I have read that kids initially diagnosed as severe become less severe or even very close to the usual understanding of "normal."
If that IS the case, how is that explained? Could it be (and this is where I might be totally off) that other parts of the brain take over and compensate for whatever parts weren't wired/formed in conformity with NT definitions?
Thanks!
