So, I'm doing an oral presentation on Autism next week and was wondering if I've left anything big out, or what you guys think could be added. I'm trying to be objective, so no "NT's are Ebil" sections. Also any more description as to what it's like to have autism are greatly appreciated, only have 2 at the moment.

Here's the main points of what i have:

Quote:
What Is Autism?
o What it Isn’t.
o Describe Autistic Behavior
o How People With Autism Describe It.
o Describe The Spectrum
o What Disorder’s Are Included in PDD’s
o Cure vs Neurodiversity
o Vaccine Debate

Thanks ahead of time for any feedback.

I would move the description of the spectrum up to the top, to be included in the "What is..." section.

What do you mean personal history or history of Autism? I guess it depends how long you have to talk.

I am also doing at talk but it will mainly be on my experience of ASD.

Fayed I think you have got the main point though some of those are board areas, that may need expansion time permitting.

-> How People With Autism Describe It.

This is interesting. Although I'm doing the talk that is mostly about my experiences (as the course covers other aspects), I want to ask them if I can do two things: 1. talk about how I think other people view autism and everyone else 2. How I would describe it.

For number one I may be quite provocative with my choice of words, maybe do it from an extremely ignorant person view. Though I would tell them not to be offended as it is not my view.
