I've been having trouble finding any Ph.D.'s that are familiar with treating ADULTS on the spectrum in the Middle Tennessee area...

Can anyone out there provide me with the names/numbers of any Psychologists that are familiar with treating ADULTS with Autistic Spectrum Disorders?

Even a name is good, I'll try to find their phone number somehow...

(not just any Ph.D. willing to treat someone with this disorder who doesn't know anything at all about it... I want someone who is familiar with treating people with ASD. There are Ph.D.'s out there that will accept ANY new patients regardless.. I have actually been told by a "professional" that they didn't believe in Asperger's!! ! after they took my hard-earned money!! !)

Thanks! I'm looking forward to getting some names (and numbers if you have).

Have you tried googling an autism specialist in your area?

My best guess is to ask these people:
http://www.autismmidtenn.org/

The meetup for Nashville has 11 people signed up but no date.
The link to to the meetup is:
