this is what stimming is:

Stimming is a jargon term for a particular form of stereotypy, a repetitive body movement (often done unconsciously) that self-stimulates one or more senses in a regulated manner. It is shorthand for self-stimulation, and a stereotypy is referred to as stimming under the hypothesis that it has a function related to sensory input

so if that sounds what your doing then yes

I liked to swing...gosh, I was in my teens and obsessed with swinging, I would do it in my parent's garage because they attached a swing for me to the rafters. I didn't even think of this until I read this!
