My day is great. I got a date!

I'll be seeing Iron Man next week. I'm excited about it, Iron Man was my second favorite superhero when I was a lad.

I hadn't thought about Ironman for years until I saw the preview a couple of months back. Robert Downey Jr. is a good actor, if he can stay clean. Yeah Daewoodrow, it does look like it'll be worth watching. I'll try to remember to post a thumbs up or down for you.

Potentially, today has been one of the worst days of my life thus far.

It's been getting better since two pm. No more nasty suprises, please!

Absolutely, thanks. I was a bit dubious about RDJ when I first heard he would portray Iron Man, I didn't really see him when I pictured Stark. But then I realised I didn't picture ANY actor when I pictured Stark, and RDJ warmed me up to his style in the previews. Now I can't really see anyone else playing him.

Droopy and Josie, sorry to hear that your respective days sucked. Maybe tomorrow will be better. Daewoodrow, the Iron Man movie is outstanding. Definitely see it in the theater! :D

Horrible.

I accidentally let my dad find out I had been using my other credit card again & really upset him (he pays off my cards so he has a right to be upset!)

Then I have been really "aspie" all day for some reason & keep doing weird things.

Like, I apparently "pushed in" to the queue for the drinking-water tap. I wanted cold water & they were busy making tea/coffee, & the tap was free so I went for it. They complained & said they were in a queue for the hot water, whereas I had thought they were just standing around talking, & faffing around with the milk like they usually do.

So, just to make a bad situation worse, I decided to explain how I "didn't understand the process" for making tea because I never drink it, which is why I didn't realise they were queuing for the tap, and just for good measure, that I couldn't understand the point of going to all the bother of making tea anyway, when it was so much easier just to get a glass of cold water. "Yes, I know, I'm just strange...." - and this to someone who, with her friend, already thinks I'm a rude freak & goes out of her way to let me know it!

Then I was (apparently) talking loudly & getting over-excited so that other people could overhear what I was saying to a colleague (so what if they could overhear - the other people nearby weren't even in our team, so why did he give a flying $&^*% whether they could hear me or not?????) so I said "I wasn't talking loudly, this is talking loudly!! !" & everyone looked around & stared. (That was only at about 2/3 volume, by the way!)

These are only the worst things I have done today. And I feel really shaky & like I want to cry, & I don't know why. It's probably to do with the credit card thing, I suppose, but it sucks!

I had my "Supervision" at work today (i.e., meeting with my boss to discuss my progress) and she was full of praise for me, so I'm happy! Today was a good day.

Also, I'm looking forward to the three-day weekend (because of Bank Holiday Monday) and going to the Mayfair in my village :D
