How many of you were/are sleepwalkers, or constantly wake up during the night needing the toilet or a drink?

I use to sleepwalk from age 6-15 and constantly wake up every night!

I have been known to do this on rare occasions, apparently. I also talk in my sleep, apparently. I always worry about the things I might say when I have no control. Maybe I am giving away information I don't want to give away. I am self conscious of this when I visit people and I worry about what this will be like if I end up living with someone.

When I was younger I didn't require sleep. I'd go downstairs, get a box of Cheerios and watch Mr. Ed, it was on a lot. Porkey's too even though I didn't understand much.

Sometimes I talk in my sleep, not so much any more.

I don't know if its sleep walking or being half awake and asleep. I've woken up downstairs on the couch, clothed, combed hair, brushed teeth ready for school. There were 2 freaky times. Once I woke up on the bus. To do that I got up did everything, walk 100 yards mostly downhill to the stop waited and got on. The worst/best was I woke up in homeroom(Unlocked locker to put sutff away) by my teacher because I was asleep. That is a crazy wake up

Yes, especially when I'm depressed and/or having a nightmare. When I was living at the Criss Cole rehab center for the blind, I fell out of bed so hard on the tile floor that I could barely walk for a few days. While I was still staying there, I sleepwalked out of my room and across the hall in nothing but my revealing pajamas. Fortunately my roomate was in the lounge next door, so when I woke up I asked her to use her key to let me back into the room. Otherwise I would've had to walk down to the front desk barely dressed. Another time I was having a nightmare and yelled in my sleep for my friend to shut the f up. I woke myself and everyone elsse up yelling, and they still joke about it.

I've never sleepwalked, but if someone startles me while I'm sleeping, I'll literally attack them in my sleep 8O

It's kind of scary. Fortunately, nobody has been seriously hurt yet.

Same here...I think I stopped sleepwalking around 12 or 13, but I'm up usually at least a couple times a night.

It seems that the least little noise sometimes also wakes me up, I startle very easily.

I've been a sleepwalker for ages. The only time I was sort of aware of it was when I woke up hanging off the top bunk of my bed when I was a little kid (I had been sleeping in the bottom one and apparently had started climbing it like a jungle gym in my sleep). I woke up because my mum came in (heard me talking) and, thinking I was awake, asked me what I was doing. Later, youth workers at places I lived as a teenager wrote in my files that I was a sleepwalker (they never told me! I found out by reading my log).
