I've been told that I hum when I'm thinking. I chirrup when I'm very happy :D I growl softly when I'm angry, and I wave my hands and go "eeeehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" when I'm distressed (which I guess would be called crowning). And I squeak when someone sneaks up on me sometimes. Anyone else make any interesting vocal sounds?

I can't describe them in words, or not well at least, but I have a happy sound, and a "darn it!" grumble, and a working-hard "rrrrr" and things like that.

I ALWAYS make werid ass noises. It scares the crap out of people, which is one of the main reasons I am quite a lot. When I am happy I go "HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!! !! !! !! !! !!", embrassted I squeel, mad I hiss or rawr, etc. I express my emotions very much through noises and body movements. The body movements is uncontrolable though >.<

I like vocal inflections. :D I get most of them wrong in casual conversations, but mine are always interesting. :D It's part of the reason I do good in choir; I've had lots of practice with differing pitches :P

I'm always making noises that match my moods, it's almost like thinking aloud but with sound effects. I also love to make animal sounds to tease our dogs. I can convince them a fly is buzzing around or a cat lurking and they go looking for it. I mimic animal sounds directly back to them which sometimes spooks them. My labrador knows I'm mimicking him which drives him mad.

As a child I discovered a sound that a cow made that made all the other cows come to her - she was the leader of the herd. Before my voice broke I could mimic that particular moo very well. I always remember one day going for a walk with my mother around the field and told her this. She didn't believe me so I made the cow sound and the whole herd came running towards us - she panicked and told me to stop

I also like to clap - just a single really loud clap. This really annoys my wife as it makes her jump. I don't know why I do it. :?

A visitor once commented about the a sound synthesizer they could heard in another room - I didn't dare tell them it was me.

I've been told that I did when I was a child. I was not aware of it (lost in my day dreams all the time), but apparently it freaked people out.

These days, when I'm out walking, melodies and song ideas come into my head. I have to sort of hum or sing them softly to revise and develop them - otherwise they would be lost. This probably makes me seem like a crazy person.

I love making various noises depending on my mood. I don't know why everyone else doesn't, because sometimes words just don't convey what jibberish will. When I'm mad I grumble, when I'm sad I'll make this noise that's kinda like a wail, and when I'm happy I make just random noises that mean nothing except "Wheee."

I make a kazoo sound with my teeth and lips. I hum and the sound reverberates off my teeth onto my lips. Drives the family nuts.

i hadn't even thought about this aspect yet, but when i play video games i hum. Sometimes i hum to the music, though usually its just a steady single tone hum that i don't even notice til someone tells me to stop. And i usually stop for a couple minutes before unconsiously starting again.

It was especially bad when i used to play starcraft because that game is just intense.

I love making all kinds of noises. I have control over them, but I do like making them whenever I can. I love imitating animal sounds, creature sounds from movies (example - the taun taun in The Empire Strikes Back), etc. My previous girlfriend and I practically developed our own language of non-verbal sounds by the end of our relationship.
