collecting pokemon merchandise

I have an obsession with wanting to collect pokemon merchandise. like figurines, etc. Is this odd? I mean I am 19. I have had an interest in pokemon since I was a kid.

Pokemon rule! I still have my card collection! Missing a few... but hey.

This isn't weird, there are people who collect all sorts of things. I know a bloke who collects paper clips. Seriously.

It's not that weird! Like Kip said, people have obsessions with lots of interesting things. I was obsessed with pokemon when I was around 10-12 and now I'm 20 and I'm no longer super-obsessed but I recently bought Pokemon Diamond for the DS, I have a pokemon t-shirt, and somewhere at home I still have my card collection.

Being honest if you're still collecting pokemon cards at 19 then it does seem odd. I used to collect them too but I stopped in middle school. It isn't that collecting stuff is odd but the fact that it's a cartoon item that makes it odd at your age since most people don't do that but it don't mean u gotta stop.

I used to be extremely obsessed with Pokemon when I was in fifth grade. I had all the cards, all the games, and everyone always called me the Pokemon Master. But those days passed a long time ago. But if you still like it, that's just fine. I know I like stuff I should be way too old for! People really shouldn't put an age limit on interests. All that's going to do is hurt you in the long run.

Hah, I have a supersized collection of Pokémon stuff. Plushies, figurines, pillows, inflatables, cards, cell-phone straps, stamps, books, CDs, videos... ooo, hundreds of pounds of the stuff.

Of course, now I collect Sonic stuff, and have one of the largest collections in the UK, too. I'm selling most of my Pokémon stuff to fund my museum of rare/retro/cool Sonic stuff

... oh, and I'm 23.

i am 23 and i have a collection of tweety plushies (small collection)
i have a larger collection of anime statues and plushies and manga too.
