Hi, I was wondering if anyone has tourette's and if they do what sort of things they say and do.

I make loud, strange noises at random times. The strange things are though that it only happens really when I am tired, and it only ever happens either when on my own or when I am with my immediate family. It usually happens as soon as I get home from work, but never happens while at work. My family are starting to get really annoyed with me and often get mad when it happens, but I really can't help it. When I try and stop I just end up making it worse. I trying telling them that but they say not to be so silly and of course I can help it. Also I have only noticed it fairly recently, getting progressively worse over the past year. I am 24 now, and thought that it only appeared when you are younger.

I don't know if I have tourette's or what it is, but it is getting me down because my family are getting really annoyed by it.

I have tourettes, along with autism... My tics are mostly motor tics, eye brow raise, lip tic thing haha, shrug shoulders, do this huge head turn thing, I really cant tell the difference though between my vocal tics and my vocal stims, sometimes I can't help them and do it over and over again until I cant breathe or it until it hurts, or i do it to calm myself, so its weird that way...

i'm pretty sure i've got tourette's. a doctor that i was seeing for medication picked up on it, she used to work in a center for tourette's. i've just got small vocal tics and i used to have facial tics but not anymore. the stuff i have is very unnoticeable so it doesn't really bother me.
