I always tend to and hit one letter instead of another sadly most messageboards ridiculed me while thankfully people on WP aren't stupid and know what I meant to say. LOL! :-) YA WP!! !! :-)

I type incredibly fast but I often make mistakes - so I just use the backspace.

Blackadder rules and so does Baldrick.

It took me ten seconds to type that. I think I pressed the backspace once or twice.

I also type very fast, being able to touch type is a useful skill. The only problem I find is that a lot of keyboards don't have a clearly defined F and J key, with the little pimples being too small to feel, so I stick a bit of epoxy glue to them so I can feel them very quickly.

Above took around 20 seconds.

Gee, I wish I could type that fast. I was the fastest typist in my school and STILL I type SLOW!

I can type pretty quickly, though it results in more typos than when I used to type slower. Which is very frustrating to me because I can't stand to have any typos, misspellings, etc.

I had to go back at the end there because I had flipped two letters in "though."

I also find that I type, too fast.

YES I do type too fast. That is why I have some mispelled words in my posts or missing letters like. But I have learned to type slower but I still mess up with the words. So I have to be real careful when I am typing since there is no spellcheck on Internet Exploror but there is on Firefox.

I tend to type pretty fast. That's one of the things they like about me at work. I type fast and do data entry very well. The only thing is that I get too fast and tend to make mistakes that I don't notice or take the time to notice.

I type pretty fast, I don't know how fast, I've never compared myself to anyone else except my family, I can type faster than all of them. I tend to, if I make a mistake, go back and delete everything until I get to the mistake I made, I don't use the arrows so everything takes me longer.

about 50-60wpm. I think I'm having problems with the keyboard moving all over the place, and sometimes I wind up typing 'one key over', and getting strange code...;)

There's no such thing as typing TOO fast as long as your accuracy is good. Fast typing can get you jobs. In careers like medical transcription fast typing equals more money. I just landed a consultant job in a top ten US company because of my typing speed and accuracy. So don't ever knock yourself for typing fast!!

I tend to type very fast but I don't use the home keys. I have the keyboard memorized so well that I don't have to look, but my fingers fly all around the keyboard and usually find the key they are looking for first time. I do make a lot of mistakes, but the good old backspace key works wonders.

The above paragraph took about 45 seconds.

I type pretty fast, but I never have a problem with it. I'll hit keys in the wrong order sometimes, regardless of speed

Can't stand modern keyboards, though. They're all mushy, unresponsive, light, flimsy...half the time they wobble all over while you're typing

I use those keys like crazy, I don't know how anyone can stand using the mouse to highlight things when shift works so much faster (especially when combined with ctrl and/or home/end/etc.). I'm completely obsessed with just about every other keyboard hotkey, as well...I even navigate Windows Explorer with it. Hitting backspace is so much faster than moving the mouse up to the "cd.." button.

I just wish Internet Explorer was more keyboard friendly ¬_¬
