Yup-I bought, read, and liked it.
If you like that, you might like the older book by Paul Collins, "Not Even Wrong". Combines the personal narrative (author's relationship with his son) with additional mental musings/perspectives over time/space, though of course "Unstrange Minds" is more up-to-date & comprehensive/wide-ranging. Collins' book is bit more "philosophical history" & Grinker's book is rather more "cultural anthroplogy".
