I guess I am at the stage where I am still trying to figure out if I should be still considering AS.

Anyway, when I had my breakdown last month, it felt like this:

My heart raced a mile a minute. My sence of hearing felt like it increased 10 times. Time slowed down, people and tevision programs were going at half-rate, and even though I thought I was speaking normally I was speaking very fast. I could not keep my vision focused. My thoughts were racing and confused.

Any thoughts?

Does it really matter if it is a distinctly aspergian thing or not?
Moving in bullet-time is awesome, if disorienting.

Ive had the same happen to me many times. Im not sure whether its a panic attack or what it is. I think maybe it might be related to anxiety? But im not sure. I hope someone comes a long who knows more about this, it would be interesting to know whether this is AS related or not.

I'm not sure what to call it... but I generally think of it as going into a HyperAdrenal state.... as it ALWAYS results in Adrenaline-Burn afterwards.

I think that is extreme anxiety which can be caused by AS. I've had it a few times. For me I think it happens when I pretend to be NT for too long and then my brain goes into automatic hyper defrag mode.

heh cool - that's what I call it too. Sotico - how come you really seem to be so unphased/ at ease with with your neural wiring? - not that you shouldn't be of course - what i mean is 'how do you do it?' Anyway I'm glad you are on this site - I have found most of your posts really helpful - thanks :)

Not sure. The person who diagnosed me commented on it as well.
I think it is down to my ability to dismiss things.... anything.... as unimportant and inconsequential, including my own supposed "feelings" or "opinions" if necessary. It is how I became a Nihilist.
Essentially... I only arbitrarily express what I want to express, and could easily change my mind at a moment's notice since it doesn't really matter. If I put my mind to it I'm capable of being fairly objective... which I've noticed isn't something most people do easily.... like they're unable to see their own biases for what they are.

I mean... to be honest, it is a wonder I'm still functional since I'm indifferent to my own existence.

I can't function without a breakdown every couple of months.
