List Feelings
I have read that Aspergers have difficulty expressing their feelings. I do not have difficulty expressing the feelings that I have, but I do not have the normal range of emotion.
Natural emotions:
Symmetry
Perseveration
Contentment
Sadness
Sympathy
Fatigue
Unknown emotions:
Grief
Jealousy
Anger
Team spirit
Boredom
Insanity
Malevolence
I don't know if I have difficulties expressing my feelings. There are physical reactions to my emotions that should be noticable. People call me stoic sometimes but there may be other reasons for that.
As for my range of emotions I only feel somewhere between very bad and very good. Depending on the context and my reactions I use different names for them:
- If it feels bad:
- If I want to throw things or hit people it's anger
- If I cry I am sad
- If I want to run away it is fear
- If I want something to happen it is impatience
- If I feel like this when someone is is happy it is envy.
- If I want to throw things or hit people it's anger
- If it feels good:
- If I smirk or smile I am happy
- If I laugh I call it fun
- If I want something to happen it is anticipation.
- If I felt like this every time when a particular person is around I would call it love
- If I smirk or smile I am happy
- If it feels neither good nor bad:
- If I want to do something but don't know what it is boredom
- If I want something to happen it is waiting
- If I want to do something but don't know what it is boredom
That's all I could think of now, there should be more.

Hmm...let me think for a second...
Emotions I can express:
Confusion
Anger
Sadness
Happiness
Thinking
Indifferent
Smugness
Emotions I can't express (but do feel):
Sympathy
Hatred
Romance
Love (can, but it's hard)
Excitement (do, but almost never)
If I didn't list something, I probably don't know it exists. Then again, I know their are emotions and expressions I never catch.

Hello.
Sometimes, I think I have more intuitive difficulty with identifying my emotions rather than having them. So my labels tend to end up very broad and basic, though I do believe I "experience" a full range of all subtle and not-so subtle emotion. I just am not always aware as to the name for each subtlety.
1. frustration/anger/rage- I don't really know where frustration crosses into anger or where anger crosses into rage, so I tend to label either "frustration"as minor and "rage" and major and rarely use "anger.
2. sadness/depression- I don't know really the difference for me between sadness and depression. But the less subtle it is, the easier it is to tell. When I am depressed I can feel a lack of energy throughout my entire body, listlessness, a heavying of my eyes and surrounding areas, less want to converse, and an overwhelming compulsion to sigh very often(cliched as it is).
3. happy/content- Mostly, I am "content". For me this simply means at rest from all other emotions. Downtime. "Happy" is true enjoyment and my face lifts, with a consistant compulsion to smile as well as to flap my hands or shake my head and use the word "giddy" too much to describe myself. I find that I also prefer to describe myself as a color: "I feel pink!" This seems to capture happiness for me.
4. Contemplative- This is just me thinking. I don't usually consider it an emotion as much as an action, though I realize a subtle emotion is involved. Most likely "content" again.
