For the past week, I really haven't had much of an appetite. I just haven't been very hungry, and whenever I eat I feel like I'm going to barf. I know that I've always had a sensitive stomach, but I haven't eaten anything bad, and I haven't even been anywhere to pick up a virus. I suspect that there is an alternate cause to this.

Last time I felt like this was a few days after I had discovered that I'm an aspie. At the same time, my dad was visiting; he had two weeks off from his deployment in Afghanistan. Once again, I was searching for a cause to a stomach virus, but I could not find one. I took antibiotics, but that did not help.

When I was younger, whenever I had friends spend the night over at my house I would get sick every time. It never failed. I find this to be rather interesting. My mom always thought it was a migraine headache, and perhaps she is right.

So, where am I going with this you ask? Well, on Saturday, my cousin is going to fly in and spend a week with us. On Monday or Tuesday, my dad is finally going to be back from Afghanistan for good. Am I stressed out about it? Not really. But perhaps, on a subconscious level. Whenever anything like this happens, whenever something changes at home, I tend to get a migraine headache. Could this possibly be some form of meltdown or shutdown that I'm just not aware of?

I think I read nausea occurs in those with an overactive nervous system when they're introduced to new and stressful situations as a safety measure to rid the body of any possible toxins the person has ingested/otherwise taken in in the unknown and possibly unsafe environment.

Even if there has been no literal change of environment enough change of another kind might be interpreted by this function of the brain as a change of physical environment to an unknown one.

I suppose this is rather common, actually.

Once again, I find myself thinking that I'm probably far more aspergic than I originally realized.
