From 15 to 45yrs I took two a day, age thirty onwards two with booze to get to sleep. I wouldn't go anywhere without a piriton. Till age twenty five I worked with others so always had 'one on me' at work. Same with visiting in-laws. You get the picture.
Now at fifty I stopped abt four years ago, liver damage detected by blood test via GP after i had an 'episode'. I had a piriton first time for six months the other day with two 400mg Ibuprofen - utterly hated it. Had to come back homeand sleep. Awful sensation. Oddly I still feel a bit spaced two days later. Monthly Chinese TCM acupuncture has sensitised my liver perhaps. Anyway, acu gives me confidence and more ability to enjoy people as well as a slightly 'thicker' skin. Then again it could be that for four years I've met monthly a sophisticated intelligent urban alpha male, my acupuncturist.
