Anyone interested in maybe hitting the zoo when things warm up a bit? I know that allergies could be a problem, so just tossing an idea out there to see if it floats.

Yay! Thanks to everyone for showing up last night. It was a nice turnout. I was happy to have gotten to make my chili. I had been missing it for some time.

I will def. try to go on the next "outing".

Thursday, we will most likely be playing at Waldo's open mic again, AND it also happens to be their 1 year anniversary..SO..um..that means that they are gonna have food and drinks, and the place is likely to be pretty crowded..but it might be fun.

You guys are so lucky to be able to meet up face to face. Sure wish people in California and other states could do the same thing.

The Chilli was really good. I was licking my chopps. Thanks!

If I can give rides to folks in Stinkadena, for Waldo's, let me know.

Next time I will definitely try your award-winning veggie chili.

I woke up today with my tummy tied in knots. Still feeling sick. Didn't eat yesterday or today so far.
Got anxious from how crowded the exhibit was, and the temperature at night wasn't being very nice...

had an internalized mini freak-out when I exited the bookstore into the coffee-shop patio on my way to the restroom, which I ended up avoiding to my bladder's dismay.

I never knew how anxious a person I was until I started to attend these gatherings. hmmm...
or maybe it's just been compounded over the past few years having been spent in isolation.

Considering the amount of beans in the chili, I find it to be oddly easy to digest.

I will be probably making it for the next few cookouts..or until people get sick of it.

I like that it feeds a lot of people and we are still left with leftovers (which taste progressively better) that will last us for a few days.

Jeremy,

Are you saying that the chili caused Dragons to appear later on?

<chuckle>

Yes, it was good, but seemed to load me up as well! ;) :p

He wasn't there for the chili...I don't think...
I thought that considering, it wasn't all that bad.

In the future though, I will try to add epazote just ot be in the safe side.

Anyway...hope everyone had a good time at Waldo's. It sure was crowded, At one point, it seemed like there was an aspie majority there.

Sorry I wasn't more social. One might get to expect that from me. I was sorta glued to my seat and preoccupied and whatnot...

Afterwards, went to the the birthday party of a friend who I coincidentally have even seen pop up on another aspie forum...

small world.
