Stand Up to Desk Rage -- and Rude People at Work
By M. WOLFE, AOL FIND A JOB

Doors slam. There’s verbal abuse. Watch out for that flying stapler! … It’s desk rage!! ! Or is it? Are we just giving a term to and extreme case of rudeness at work? Is it, like “road rage” and “air rage,” a name we’ve given to our bad behavior in response to stress? Are workers more out of control than they were in some glorified past? And, if so, what can you do about it?

With it becoming more expensive to fill our gas tanks, pay rent or the mortgage and buy food, and with our increasing workloads and 24/7 connectivity to our jobs, stress is part of life. And it’s bound to express itself in the workplace......

Seems like the solution they're advocating is stress management--same as it is for Aspie meltdowns. Now if they'd just stop drugging us and teach us that instead, we'd be better off, I think! Many professionals must be a bit blinded by the idea that Aspies are "different", and not be considering that a 'meltdown' in an Aspie could be due to stress just like they are in NTs--and that, despite different sources of stress and different coping strategies working for the two groups, the solution is basically the same: Reduce the workload, change the way you do things, find a way to relax, and be aware of the people around you and their stress levels...
