I had a falling out with a friend a couple of years ago we were pretty close stayed at each others houses etc. Most of the time I am ok with it but sometimes it makes me sad like now when I am successful (going for my licence in 9 days) and she would have been the one I told. I have a couple of friends but no close ones at the moment. To think of the amount of friends I have had and lost. Also with my mum I have a very sucesssful NT lawyer brother who is mums favourite whatever he does is great and whatever I do will never be good enough for her. She is constantly trying to change me and telling me off for aspie behaviour she knows I cant help. My As not only makes it tough to make friends it also makes it hard to keep them. Do any of you ever feel like this. Has anyone else had similar issues with making and keeping friends?

Count me in.

For me, I realize it's the best interest for the both of us. Really cool person, just too hectic and demanding-from each other... Communication is problematic.

For me, maintaining a relationship, friendship is the most difficult.

Yeah same for me most of the time but when I have good news that is when it sinks in or when I drive past her house.
