Not a great idea to make a comparison to a mass murderer. Manson may have many, many issues, serious mental issues, but I doubt Aspergers is one of them.

May not be mass murderer, but the point still stands.
Uh, yeah. I can't see what exactly is "Aspie" about Manson... :?

I have, one more than one occasion, heard Manson described as having the charm of a psychopath This is why he was able to lead and brainwash his small group to the point of gruesome murders. Last time I checked though...he never actually killed anyone himself.

Actually he was a mass murder. By California Law his influence made him as guilty as the people who commited the murders. People don't go to prison merely for being a cult leader. If they did, churches would be empty.

I can't imagine anything less likely than an aspie cult leader.

Explain why you think he's Aspie. Maybe that will help.

Incorrect. Manson was neither a mass murderer nor a serial killer. He was a cult leader and his followers killed some people.

Well, I guess you COULD say 2+2=9999999999! Otherwise, you couldn't be more wrong. Manson is just a crazy mass murderer. And he DID encourage, request, and APPROVE of murder! Under the clear and present danger doctrine, that makes him GUILTY OF MURDER!

BTW that isn't some recent California law. It is a VERY old FEDERAL law!

Sorry I didn't mean to offend you or Mr. Mason. I guess I only know of his work BEFORE he was incarcerated. I am sure he is a wonderful person now. I certainly did not want to slander his good name in the community.
The truth is it is that little bastard who played Oliver on the TV show "Brady Bunch" that we should fear. He is evil incarnate. But I always get them confused.

A charismatic personality that inspires total devotion isn't exactly a typical aspie trait.

It's the ultimate in nonverbal skills, therefore not aspie.

^Explain what you've observed. His way of thinking seems to me rather erratic, off the wall random. I'll say he made a dang good point about the "red pill."
