If someone without AS said I have AS then that would be the same, and I wasn't offended so no. Otherwise if someone with AS said this it wouldn't make any sense and I might be confused, ignore it or otherwise not be offended.

One time, a member said to me, that I was lower functioning than he thought I was. I was very offended. This is one post where I should not elaborate, because that person might be on, right now.

I wouldn't be offended. Being more severely affected by a disorder does not take away from one's worth as a person.

IMO, it would only be offensive if they said I had it WORSE than them.

No. I don't know why it would be offensive.

I usually don't even care if someone calls me a ret*d. I don't think I'd be offended by such a statement.

Well, I have never been called "a ret*d". Frankly, AS and "ret*d" don't really go together. AS covers a LOT of things. If they thought I were more AS than they were, I would be curious as to why. But why take it as an insult? Sometimes people have said I was ODD and THEN, when they tell me WHY, I found it to be a real sincere compliment!

I don't suppose I've ever been called a ret*d in relation to AS, but I can see some people using it as an insult for that, even if it doesn't fit well.

If the regular NT had said to me that I look more aspergers/autistic more than the other person then it would offend me and that would probably would of made me feel really stupid... I'd probably get a little angry at the person who said it.

If someone who has AS had told me that, it wouldn't matter as such because the person also has it and I don't see what is offensive about it?

If someone thinks I am so low functioning, why don't
they do a dang thing to HELP OUT ONCE IN A WHILE///

No one on this system said that so please don't worry,
it is more of the Bob/Carole Normals out in the world
who love to point out "faults" I must have stashed
away in my olddusty cabinets somewhere, but when
it comes time to pay the piper, they all run away,
this is why I do not give any merit/credit to anyone
saying "ohhh oh my god YOU NEED EHLP GET HELP GET HELP!! !"
I write it off as another lie and blow them a razzberrie.

Here is another USELESS line:"Get a job".

useless useless useless.

They never do a dang thing to help me get one.

Why not?

Are they liars or are they just a big CHICKEN????

If they want me to have a job as bad as I do,
(I already have ONE job, I just don't get rich like tehey sayem to do)
WHY DON'T THEY START SHOVELLING THE GRAVEL???

I shood put this in the Useless Advisories thread but
it is broken.

Zorry to bust the bustabo.
