Can someone have AS and not have uncomfortable sensory expiriences?

On the other hand, I was in my mid-fifties before I realized that my sense of smell was extreme... I thought everyone's sense of smell was the same.

Yes. I have some bad moments, yeah, but honestly, it's been more beneficial for me. For one thing, sex is amazing...

noise drives me crazy...how doesn one cope with it. here in South america all restaurants have tvs on and loud, and yet no one watches tv really and can comfortably continue eating their food. I walk in and immediatley ask to turn th evolume down and am stared at by most. A resto without >TV unthinkable they think, would have no customers and on top it is alway action movies or ugly news that is on.

I realise I need to live on an island the older I get, I am tired of correcting and lashing out and getting mad about htings
