Was Wizards late 70s or early 90s?
Anyhow, My favourite '80s cartoon was an anime called Nausicaa, directed by Hayao Miyazaki. Castle in the Sky was another good movie that he directed back in the '80s.

But overall, my absolute favourite '80s cartoon was 'Secret of Nimh.' I loved the rat city.... and the sword duel at the end was awesome.

Ninja Turtles. I had Ninja Turtle bedsheets. I even had a pet Chinese Box Turtle that I named Michaelangelo because he actually had an orange stripe on his head!

Was that Bastardized "Conan the Adventuerer" from the 80's? I used to think, after watching the movie, that the cartoon show wasn't the "real thing", except I now realize, after reading R. E. Howard's original short stories, that it was closer to his world than the film. What the movie got right, however, was the brutality and sex.

I liked Thundercats, Transformers, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Dungeons & Dragons. I don't know if I ocul watch any of them without cringing now, though.
