This must be one of the worst pieces of music I have ever heard, It's called "the charver song" ('charver' being another word for chav). I found it here. The writer is from a radio station in my area and is always on the late night programme. Upon listening to it a few times i gather it takes the mickey out of chavs

What do you think of it, good or not good?

It sounds like the sort of happy hardcore crap chavs like to listen to. However, I heartily approve of most things which take the piss out of the hooded rats...

I started liking it at first, repetitive and all. But then it just did the same thing almost over and over. Too repetitive. And I got totally uninterested. Blah.

"Meh" is my answer.

The only thing redeemable about it is the sample of our Dear old Droogie Alex from A Clockwork Orange (Malcom MacDowell) saying "Look at me, I'm an original". There's nothing original about it though. Sounds like a third rate Kraftwerk clones on crank.

8O They call this Hardcore????? 8O Hardcore what???? SLOTH???? This is weak, soulless shite cranked out for the masses. I'm amazed that working class youths in the UK are so complacent and lazy that they actually think that this crap is music.

Thankfully this is a youth culture that doesn't translate very well in the US.

--And to think that I would go so far as to b***h about future forms of youth culture. Never in my life did I think that would be possible, but here it is.

Don't call chavs working-class... you'd scare them. chavs are workshy-braindead-petty criminal-moron class, thank you very much.

OK, that was bad, but I've definitely heard worse (both techno and actual stuff on the radio)
