Sad but true. A lot of times I forget to even read the rules and just type what my little heart desires. Some of you may have known this happened recently (like a day ago), but I think rule-following is one of my weak points. Anybody else have this problem?

Um, if I am properly understanding the post you are talking about...

The rules are usually not enforced that harshly here, and I was really confused as to why that particular thread was singled out. I wouldn't get too stressed out over it... from what I've seen as long as you don't go around making death threats left & right and try not to BLATANTLY break the rules, you will be accepted for who you are here :)

But yes, I tend to assume that as long as I'm just generally trying to be a decent guy then I will be following the rules by default. This usually works except when some petty-minded a**hole randomly decides he has it in for me and tries to nail me on some very minor technicality. Also, when it becomes clear that I am EXPECTED to bend the rules a LITTLE in order to work the system properly (I'm thinking of school here, but it could apply elsewhere) I sometimes don't know how much I'm supposed to be bending the rules and sometimes end up doing it too much or too little

I get banned, warned, ignored, told off, yelled at, but not because I can't follow the rules, but because I just don't.

Rules are so constricting.

I just do what's logical.
If there's an illogical rule on a forum for people with AS then something's seriously amiss.

Seanybaby, I don't think you have anything to worry about. I think that post started out as an honest question/comment, but had a lot of negative potential and started turning that way kinda quickly with little positive end in sight.

But no worries. You seem quite nice and I'm sure, as long as you, yourself, decide to stay, I think you'll be here for a long time. :) :) :)
