Depends on who you marry.
I have asperger's. My husband has a few mild traits. We had one very smart neurotypical child, one very smart with mild asperger's like mine, (both work in the video game industry)and one with autism plus mental retardation, bi-polar, OCD, and seizure disorder; and nonverbal.
If you marry a complete NT and have no environmental assaults during pregnancy or birth, I think I read that the odds are about one fourth of having a child with AS. The odds are the same with each child, so you coud have none, or you could have four in a row.
My neurotypical sister had seven girls. One died of mosaic 18. Her last girl has mild asperger's. Her oldest is awfully close to the spectrum and has a fair amount of anxiety. The rest are neurotypical. My neurotypical brother had one son with asperger's.
If you marry someone with Asperger's or Autism, the odds go up but not to 100%.
