Good Morning ! I should be in 35th grade now, so I created a profile on classmates.com.. i opened my life up to my former mates, and expressed how I discovered I have Asperger traits, it completes who i am, and it is was like finding the missing piece of life's puzzle for me.. I was ready to disclose why I am who I am, and it is very comfortable doing so, it explains so much about me, and perhaps lets those understand why i was so different than others...Would anyone like to view it?Includes some pictures as well..

I used to have an account but since facebook is around, I didn't bother but now I am wondering if its worth the money to have an account at classmates. I think I could have some fun with it.

Classmates has been far more valuable to me in regards to connecting with other people than say Myspace or facebook, and esp. Reunion.com, which has nada appeal to me, i regret signing up for 3 months...... At my age, it just seemed like a common ground for us folks, I am too old for myspace and facebook.. If you sign up to be a member with Classmates, i'd like to sign your guestbook, please.. :)

I know, I know, I remember as well. However, if I may share a story with you.. One of the snootiest, spoiled, girls in my class was never more than a mere aquaintance at best with me, but channel 22 years later we meet each other in a park, and I discover she has an autistic little boy of her own.. I have an 18 yr. old autistic daughter, and I myself have many strong aspie traits, so we sat down and she spilled out her life , as I listened, than I shared my story as she listened.... She and I finally connected after all those years..She was no longer the snooty, spoiled girl, she was a much humbler parent of 2 boys, 1 with autism.....

I never went to the dances at my school, or the prom, and I have never been to , or plan to attend any reunions, I would feel so lost being around them all...but there is a greater comfort with Classmates.com, just as it is a sweet comfort to come here to Wrongplanet... :)

Funny how things work like this, one of my worst bullies today apparently has a child that is LFA.. thats ironic.

Oh, I just associated classrooms.com with reunions but I guess it's more about getting together with a few friends from high school come to think of it.
