Do you use Flavay or Flavay Plus?

I've been looking up information about PHOSPHATIDYL SERINE because of someone's recommendation on this forum, and came across the product Flavay and Flavay Plus. It's a product that includes many other supplements that are suggested for cognitive function, etc.

Just wanted to see if ANYONE uses this stuff.

I have used PS before. Note: all the real research on PS is on the banned bovine brain cortex type. It is not safe to take this because of the risk of prison attack such as Variant Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease. In the soya/plant type the fatty acid is different so it could not have the same effect.

Yeah, I read about the problems with the bovine version. I "thought" that I had read that the bovine version was more effective for alzheimer's, but the soy version may still be useful for cognitive function in non-alzheimer's use.

Was PS benefecial for you, O_equals_true?

um probably not. I was taking it for cognitive dysfunction. It was a long shot.

What I’m saying is there isn't any good independent research for the PS products on sale. It is actually really expensive considering what it is. There is much more evidence for Herperzine A and it is cheap.

I agree -- it is REALLY expensive, which is what causes me to hesitate. Thanks for the Herperzine A suggestion. Would this supplement be considered helpful for a young person with ADD?
