I love it, I love it, I love it! The first snow of the year. It makes the cold weather so worthwhile. As long as I don't have to drive anyway. My new dog had her first experience with the snow too and she doesn't want to come in. She ran around with all the kids after school today and chased snowballs to her hearts content. Now she is just out there laying in it.

I love it!

I love it when amounts greater than 6 inches fall. I like the way that it dampens sound. However I also miss snow, as I currently live in an area where it's a very rare occurance.

That being said, it can sometimes get to be a bit monotonous by the time that mid March rolls around.

Ugghhh! I'm jealous!

Memphis gets snow once every five years, if at all. And then it's mostly 2 inches of sleet and ice, not enough to make a snowball much less a snowman. A snow warning is enough to close school (even before one flake hits the ground) but it could be a blizzard and I'd still have to go to work.

We're suppose to get a few inches up here tonight. A lot more to the north of where I am.

Snow? What is this 'snow' of which you speak?

Very few places in Australia gets snow, specifically the tail end of the Great Dividing Range in the South East.

I've only seen snow once...Wasn't much though. Enough to make snowballs and throw them, but not enough to build a snowman.

Ooh crap. It was in the 60s today with a little rain here in PA. Not ready for snow yet. Makes it too hard to get to work, and makes me stay there longer.

Ahh, Western Mass.
Near enough to the sea(two hours in two directions) to have some moderating effect, high enough above sea level to be safe from the ravages of global warming.

I took my bike to work today. When I was done with work at 11pm, the freezing rain got into my bike lock. When I finally got it open, my brakes wouldn't work. When I finally got my brakes to work, they wouldn't stop working. First snow of the year, and I'm already sick of it. Although I'll admit that I'm more amused at this situation than I am pissed off.

There is nothing funnier in the Known Universe than a dog playing in snow. That is a scientific fact!

I remember taking my dog out in the snow once and he developed this technique for going downhill in snow by spreading his rear legs out (as if to sit) and then bouncing down the slope! There's some sights you never forget, seeing a great big Choccie Lab hopping down a snowy slope with a huge grin on his mouth was one of them! :D

I probably wouldn't like it if I didn't enjoy shoveling, but I think it's great. We had snow even before Halloween this year, so this ought to be a crazy winter.

I hate snow.

I hate snow.

I hate snow.

And I hate having "snow days" too, for the record. The screw everything up.
