Sister- 5.1 Ch speaker system for her dorm
Brother- Same for his dorm...
Older Brother- Simpsopns "operation" game and collectible playset
Mom- Precious moments statue
Dad- Minidisc recorder (he does a lot of music stuff)
Both parents- Power inverter for their motorhome

I have no idea what to get for a friend of mine- 27 year old female, my only "good" friendship, would love for it to be a relationship, but not in the cards. I'm looking for the magic gift that says, "I'm interested and you should be too, but I respect our friendship". hmm...

I haven't really bought any presents yet. My mum and I are getting my uncle (her brother-in-law) a collection of Star Wars Pez dispensers that we saw at the store the other day. As for getting presents by myself, I haven't done that yet, but at this point I usually don't. Thanks for reminding me that I need to get going on that.

Nothing.

I dont know whether to say I dont celebrate holidays/bdays/etc or to say I celebrate them differently. I dont expect anything. So no I'm not greedy. Mainly just being there is good enough for my family.

The only thing I have thought of so far is getting my Mom something cool for her Australian bearded dragon. I will probably end up buying alot of videos for people.

Being a bear on a budget, I have bought two teddy bears which I HOPE to be able to sew clothes for and dress up as my grandparents for, you guessed it, my grandparents! I picked up a little silver with pink glitter and sequins jewellery box which I will probably give my sister along with something else (little sisters are soo easy: makeup and accessories!), no idea what to do for my brother, perhaps I could get him a funky scrolly LED mouse to go with his new laptop? As for mum, hmm, not sure: the standard answer is candles, but I wouldn't mind doing something a bit creative this year... ooooh wait a minute! Silly me! I was planning on sewing a skirt for my sister (she's been not so subtly admiring mine!), and if I can, perhaps I will do one for mum too? Or I could try my hand at embroidering some hankies for her! :D Oh, and something froggy for my best friend. :)

I'll give some fine chocolates to my 2 friends and thiers spouses.

Probably nothing to any of the family.

And a sizeable cash donation to WP.

I'm no good with remembering presents, but my sister has been asking me a lot to get her a kitten,or at least
a..........................not sure what they are called...sponsorship? sponsoring a cat at a animal charity?
She's 25,and responsible and has wanted a kitten for a long time now,so it's not a spontaneous decision.
Have told my dad i'm thinking of getting her a kitten, and he said there's no way he's having anymore cats in the house even though we only have 2 now,he makes more mess than they do.
There aren't any UK cat sponsorship things that I know of though.

This is an Australian bearded dragon. Despite their appearance, they are naturally tame and have very little fear of humans. They make great pets though they can be harder to care for than dogs or cats. From nose to tail they are about 18" (~0.5m) when fully grown.

Because I am poor (honestly, I'm very poor. I live in a shelter if that tells you anything) and I am not in touch with my family (nor do I desire to be with most of them) I'm giving very few gifts this year. I plan to send cards/ecards to all my friends. I might send my friend Simon a bus map because he likes maps and I can get that free.

Yay for Australian fauna getting abroad!

I have no idea what I'm getting people for Xmas... I usually work that out about a week or so before hand.

They will only bite in self-defense, which is extremely rare and you usually have to do something to make it feel threatened for that. They are usually happy to sit or climb on you, unless they are motivated to walk around the room. Then you might have to have them walk from one hand into the other repeatedly to keep them from getting away, but they won't bite you for that or even holding them back.
