I've had a few colds lately, and took some decongestant medicine that contained pseudo ephedrine. For the few days I took it, my mood seemed a lot better than it usually does. Does this drug have stimulating effects? I never really noticed it until the past day or so since I've been off the cold medicine. I feel like I'm back to my usual grumpy self. Does it affect anyone else this way?

The drug is a very mild stimulant. It usually energizes me and makes me less hungry. In Florida, they have started tracking every package of it that is sold, you have to sign for it and give your drivers' license number, as people chemically alter it to make methamphetamine.

They track it here too in Mississippi. All the boxes are behind the pharmacy counters.

I get joyful when I use it, simply because it feels so good not to have my nose and ears all stuffed up! If anything though I am more tired than usual, not more active.
