Well? I find my often blunt spoken, sometimes convoluted writing, along with my refusal to even pretend to be polite if I know somebody is wrong, and perhaps my ego, amongst other things, can be abrasive. This is somewhat different to how I appear in "real life".

Mods - don't remove this thread, please, even if insults start being thrown back and forth.
This sort of thing has piqued my curiosity, and the interactions might help me form a contrast.

I like you. You come up with very interesting ideas/opinions sometimes. I look forward to your posts. I'm not thin-skinned enough to mind if you're blunt.
