My husband has been hit by cars three times. Once when he was five, once when he was a teenager and about seven years ago. When he was five he was hit in the head and in a coma for a few hours. He now has no sense of smell. When he was a teenager he was on a bike and got rolled under the car....just scratches. The one seven years ago he was on his bike and ended up on the hood of someones car as he was crossing an intersection. He scares me LOL.
Sounds like me! I was riding my bike & I hit a car that made a left in front of me. I ended up underneath it. My nose was within an inch of the front tire. Had the driver been going faster, he would have killed me. I had no helmet on, & ended up with only a few scratches & I had an area of sensitivity on my forearm where I could not lean on it for a long time. My bike's front wheel was ruined in the crash...I guess you could say it sustained the most damage since I was able to walk away & had to "assist" my bike home.
