I just get really angry at her all the time, because I have TS and whenever I walk by her yard, and I'm ticcing, she always gives me these dirty looks. And she sometimes says stuff like "Could you save your annoying shouting for later?" or "Do you know that there's a law against disturbance of the peace?" I don't know if I can actually get arrested for my shouting tics, but that's a scary thought. My parents seem to have no issue with her giving them dirty looks all the time, but it really hurts me and I hate it.

All I can suggest is to let it go.
You cannot change other people, no matter how badly they annoy or hurt you.
Take comfort in knowing that you are most likely not the only target of this person's behavior.
Letting this person take so much of your thought and energy means she "wins". Don't let her win anymore.
Take liberties with yout tics and shout out b***h everytime you see her. Then you can always blame it on the TS (even if it's not really the truth  ).
And no- you cannot be arrested for displaying your TS no matter how annoying it may be to your neighbor.

I'm curious, have your parents ever told her that you have a medically diagnosed condition? I realize it may not change anything, but it sounds like she thinks you are a misbehaving child who should know better.

Beyond that, NQ is right. You know the truth, you know your own value, tune her out and be at peace with yourself.

I agree with the others, I don't think you could get arrested. It's not like you have any control over it. If this neighbor knows about the condition and doesn't drop the subject, you're clearly not at fault.

You could actually have her arrested for harassment if you tell her that you have TS and she continues to harass you. YOU have the upper hand here. I know it's hurtful the way she acts toward you, but just keep in mind that you're in a better position to be a prick and you're not. Good for you!
