Autistic like personality ISTJ?

Obviously many have Autism and Aspergers and they can't help it. However I hear of other people who believe them may have Autism to some degree yet they are not diagnosed or they suspect they have Autism but don't have it severely or only a few behaviours etc. I can only speak for myself here but perhaps some of us just have personality types that are of a Autistic nature. I have done many online tests online and I keep coming up as an ISTJ which I mostly agree with and upon reading more deeply about this personality type it is clear the ISTJ personality shares many traits with Autism. For example:

ISTJ's

Are orderly, like structure and routine

Have concrete thinking

Are quiet, serious and reserved

Calm and introverted

Have loner tendencies, enjoy time alone and solitude, prefer working solo however they can enjoy being with others

Not naturally in tune with other peoples feeling or their own

Rarely express strong emotions, don't talk about feelings

This doesn't explain why I have trouble understanding jokes though or finding it hard to make friends or my difficulty to filter out noise when talking to people and often can't remember what they even said a lot of the time especially with noise present or in a group.
Also I like lining things up like objects and I used to do it as a kid apparenlty, instead of playing with car toys or whatever I would just line them all up of course this doesn't mean I am Autistic though.

Perhaps this is the answer to my behaviours and coments from other people about my behaviour over the years it's more than likely just my personality as opposed to having Autism. The main reason I am surely I am not Autistic is because I don't struggle socially but I am not a good conversationlist and making friends "real" friends isn't easy, I do understand body language but I think only the basics like facial expressions although to be honest apparently a lot of men in general don't read body language well compared to women.

Is anymore else an ISTJ?

We have had a poll about this at this forum before and if I correctly recall, the majority of the respondents were ISTJs.

I am an ENFJ.

I imagine that "order and routine" are more typical ISTJ, while the "special interests" are more typical INTJ.

Whenever I do a MBTI test, I'm 80+ on I, N and T, but very weak on P/J. I usually test as an INTP, but the P is weak and I've had INTJ a number of times as well.

I alsways end up as an ISTP though :/

I'm always a mix between ENTP and INTP. I'm in the middle between E and I, but I'm a definite NTP.

I was obsessed with the MBTI for awhile. I made a thread about it and an MBTI test administrator contributed some useful information. I am an INTP and he said he believed that most Aspies would either be INTP or INTJ,.

INTJ is the majority here.

I'm always INFP.

A few times I've ended up with ENFP or INTP, but usually, it's INFP.

I guess the degree of I would depend on the degree to which one struggles with sensory problems and social situations and relationships. I am an E, but I get very I when these problems escalate. I also get more F when I am struggling with depression (which fortunately hasn't happened for a long time... although I do have an anxiety disorder now, so maybe I would test more F now too.

I'm either INTP or INFP.

Interesting stuff. I guess many on the Autism spectrum aren't ISTJ. I have done many of these online tests for Autism and Aspergers and I do usually score in the high range. However I think the problem is that anyone who is introveted or avoids being social would typically score high on a lot of these tests.

For example I have done this online "personality disorder" test on simular minds a lot and the end result is I come up highly Schizoid. Which I don't agree with because while I am a definate loner and aloof and I spend most my time alone I don't avoid people like Schizoids would and Schizoids don't even like being with their own family. Online tests can be useful as a tool to discover your personality however just because someone scores as whatever doesn't mean they are to be honest I think those who are introverted will often score high on the Autism Quotent test or tests of a simular type.

The only thing I ever get consistently is "I" and "P". The test is really based on false dichotomies, and neither N nor S, T nor F describes me in any consistent way, I do things differently.

INTJ here but with a sort of weak J, wouldn't take much to make it a P.
