Personally, I don't think it was inappropriate to mention Bob Dylan as you did, assuming he's not someone you personally know. Assuming his place in your life is the same as for the rest of us.

But, getting back to the original topic, and this goes with what I said in my post on the first page, it could be that your friend has that sort of an attitude -- that it's not fair to say he has AS, and was responding out of that. You say he has AS, your friends, "Or it could just be...".

I never said to my friend that I thought he had AS, just Bob Dylan and he agreed with me on that.

That "he" was referring to Bob Dylan, who was referred to in what I was replying with, thus my use of a pronoun instead of the name. Sorry for the ambiguity.

Here it is clearer: But, getting back to the original topic, and this goes with what I said in my post on the first page, it could be that your friend has that sort of an attitude -- that it's not fair to say Bob Dylan has AS, and was responding out of that. Clear now?

It was always clear, I am telling you that was not the reason.

Oh, come on, you clearly showed you thought I was referring to your friend where I was referring to Bob Dylan. It was NOT clear to you what I was saying, because you demonstrated having misunderstood. An easy misunderstanding to make and I certainly don't fault you for it. But now that I've made clear that I was referring to Bob Dylan where you showed in your reply that you thought I was referring to your friend, don't BS me and say that what I was saying was clear. It has nothing to do with whether my understanding of your situation is right or not. You, before, were disagreeing with something that wasn't what I was actually saying, because my writing was ambiguous and you took it different than I meant it. My hope is that my rewriting it was clearer, so that you can agree or disagree with what I was actually trying to convey.

It's stuipd that people only want to use Asperger syndome people rather than be friends. It is inappropriate to mention people like Bob Dylan if they never have even known him or some other famous Aspie. Ido not like Neurotypicals pointing at me when they are angry as this is most disrepectful
