does anyone else have the impresson that they're living life on fast forward?

for instance, your train of thought is just screaming down the track while everyone else is still hanging out at the station? so when you're trying to talk to someone they just never keep up with where you're going, much less where you're at?
or, when watching some event unfold and you know what the outcome will be, or what several possible outcomes could be, and everyone else is still enthralled and can't understand why you're bored with it?
almost like you absorb the info around you (not book info, real time in the present info) faster than others and you're already dealing with it or moving on to the next thing.

or is it just me..

not too far in the past i was on anti-depressants, and i felt like i was moving in slow motion all the time. it was nice in a way, i was in the same time frame as everyone else and I didn't get so impatient with things. i'm off the meds now and i have noticed things are speeding up again but i feel freer again now.

My life is stagnant and is moving much too slowly for my tastes. I would change almost everything about it if I could. I know people suggest taking one's life into one's own hands and getting what one wants out of life, but it doesn't seem to be working yet. :(

find something small, I mean small! something that can be done when you think of it immediately. for example.. i noticed my posture was suffering from rounded shoulders so I picked moving my shoulders back. something small that I could do immediately, something that I could feel accomplishment because I chose it and I did it, it also made me feel better physically.
find something small for yourself.
when you are ready for another small thing you'll know. and gradually you will find that all the little things you've done start visibly adding up to something you can see as taking control of your life.
