I'm obsessed with Mirror Balls, Aluminium Christmas Trees, silver clothes, Vintage TVs and Swingning London. I'm also obsessed with Pearlies as in Cockneys, and the shiney Mother of Pearl Buttons that they sew onto their Costumes. Does anybody else have any strange Obsessions?

Broadway shows. I have actually read some of the god-awful romantic novels that some of them are based on. I didn't really enjoy novels like Edna Ferber's ShowBoat, but I read it anyway.

And, I know all of the obscure songs from hit shows.

Dozens. Current obsession is Pirates of the Crimson Coast - a CCG where you actually build the ships and play with them in 3-D. I am trying to build an all pirate fleet.

Yeah, you aren't obsessed with strange things. Rather you are obsessed with something rarely obsessed over. The thing itself is neutral.

I'm obsessed with Australia and the idea of immigrating to Sydney. I even applied for entry into University of New South Wales.....and got in. But unfortunately, my bank account said otherwise. :(

By this it seems like everything would be neutral. So, if I were obsessed, with, say, various forms of skin flakes, or if I worked in a factory and became obsessed with and collected the drippings from the glue machines, those things would be neutral, and the obsession would be - ?
I guess it depends on the audience. Most people would find the above to be strange things. On the other hand, a few people might think the glue drippings were works of art. I did collect them, and because I was reading fantasy novels at the time, they became the basis of the terrain for a novel I imagined (but never wrote) for my own entertainment.

That depends on your definition of "strage obsessions". One of my more recent perseverative interests is Asperger's Syndrome....

I'm obsessed with Psychology, but that's not so strange in itself. Only HOW much I'm obsessed.

I am obsessed with mirrors and hands though. That's kinda strange. And collecting. Anything.

One of my primary obsessions is that I am obsessed with Dutch language and culture (Spreek U Nederlands? Ik kan, maar nog eens bietje...) Strange thing to be obsessed with, I know, but it all dates back to a good teacher I had whom just happened to be from the Netherlands. Heck, I even blew good money on an orange T-shirt on eBay just recently...

Other things I am obsessed with is history, including alternate history, and strangely enough for someone whom is generally opposed to wars, I own a copy of a book on tanks (the treads-and-guns kind, not the fluid-storage kind).

I am a big fan of Stargate as well as Stargate: Atlantis, but they are not true obsessions as such. I also thorougly enjoy fantasy and science-fiction.

Obsessed with Australia, hm? I am having the same bank account issues with travelling overseas myself.
