Okay, so I'm not very good with names, but I can remember peoples avatars. When people change their avatar, could they please say so, and post their previous avatar?
I'm not sure if this is AS related or not, in other forums, people don't usually go by avatar (or so I have noticed). Anybody else have a similar problem?

Same here, I am crap with usernames unless a perticular member is significant in some way, but otherwise I remember the avatar and recognise the user with that.

That's why I make sure I don't change my avatar too often.

<-- New Avatar.

It's from the cover of "Wielding An Hourglass," a book by Piers Anthony (1984).

Oh wait.. I remember that series! Barely... but I remember it was interesting. The one I most remember is the one about Death.. On a Pale Horse or something? His horse was also a car!

Peirs Anthony has quite the imagination. I've read almost all of his series and they're always very interesting.

I get so thrown off by changes that I sometimes check to see if someone is still posting, and suddenly realize they've simply changed Avvies and I didn't recognize them.

I'm on my second avatar after Oingo Boingo; while I doubt I will remember to list the change, I will endeavor to. It disorients me too, but I can't expect others to do things for me.

Now that you mention it, I have been going by avatars more than names too. I was getting ready to change my avatar, but I think I will stay with my old childhood picture instead. But if I do change it in the future, I will post the original picture with the new avatar. That is a good idea.

I don't even look at the names. I couldn't name 2 usernames off this site if I tried unless you count my own.

I only look at avatars. So when someone changes theirs, they might as well just start anew in my book because I'll have no idea who the heck they are.

I think I'm gonna keep mine for a while.

One time, on this other message board, me and this other guy switched avatars for a while and totally messed with everyones' heads ;D
