I do not suffer from delusions myself but I know one person in particular who is very close to me who happens to be be NT but she fantasizes about many delusions of a non bizarre kind. She gets extremely angry :x if people around her accuse her of lying but she feels within herself she is telling the truth. The stories in her life are frequenty far removed from the facts but she keeps insisting they are true like going on journeys she never went on, being at places she never was and believe non-existing people are stalking her and sometime accuse people of stalking her and she gets them very offside. She would for instance discribe in great detail a rock concert every knows she never went to or a wedding she never attended.
She is also bo-polar and have a very strong complusion to exaggerate otherwise known as mythomania. She would make up a lie one day and actually believe her own lie the next. I find the this hard to fathom.

Does anyone here have such delusions themselves or this fits the picture of someone they like me know as well

"Mythomania", I like that! She sounds kind of schizophrenic. Does she have sensory distortions and does she jump to conclusions?

According to my doctor, who I refer to him as Dr. Evil and went to Evil Medical School said that I have delusions but mine are of the bizarre kind. I believe that I influence the economy (because of all my dead on accurate predictions), there are nanobots inside of me, a satellite controls me sometimes, there is a bomb in my neck, and that I might turn into a robot. By the way I would NEVER believe these weird things on my own. The thought insertion from the government and aliens tells me this stuff. Otherwise I would never believe it. The aliens say I have a special purpose for them. Don't know what. And if you are all wondering, yes, I have been diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder. I just love how the government spies on me....not! I can see my doctors saying, "I would hold the world ransom for $100 billion dollars or I will blow up the world!" I love that movie.

At times she was crossing in to the bizarre when she claimed she could see demons on people's shoulders but to most dominant kind are the delusions of the non bizarre kind like drinking alcohol on her own and the next day believing she was at a big party full of people that night.

Betcha it's part of the bipolar thing. If they're right about her being bipolar, part of the wonky brain chemistry associated with that could affect her reasoning. It does for lots of bipolar people.

I knew one guy with far more bizarre delusions. He thought he was under surveillance by a secret Russian service and he decided to burn his house down to create a diversion. They found him shivering by a nearby creek in his underwear under a bush. He did get insurance for the house when schizophrenia was finally diagnosed on condition he proved he kept up his medication.

He still does some pretty odd things like his window was rattling in the wind so he put Liquid Nails and Maxibond in the runners to stop it. Now he wants a jemmy for xmas so he can open his window.
