I'm going over my year-end finances and trying to pick tax-deductible charities to donate to. Most of the charities I've heard about that are involved in Autism are of the "cure the poor children" or "let's have washed-up celebrities spout off grossly skewed statistics" ilk. Are there any tax-deductible charities that actually do good for the autism community and respect neurodiversity?

If you do not feel good with giving to any AS/Autism society then I would suggest not doing so. You are better off giving to something that you know and feel good about.
BTW, Wrong Planet is not an IRS deductible non-profit so the OP cannot give to WP and achieve the goals he/she wants.
