Within 5 short months, I will be moving to Idaho to attend college at BSU. I am currently working with Montana Vocational Rehabilitation and want to transfer my services down to Idaho. I asked the MT people if that was possible. They said I would have to apply down there and the MT people would send down the information when the Idaho people request it.

The MT people told me I need to get into contact with the Idaho department as soon as possible. I decided this is the best time to do that, because at other times of the year, I have to get on the bus at 8 AM to go to college and I don't get home until nearly six in the evening. And the departments close down at four, right? I don't want to incur long distance charges on the college phone, so what am I to do.

As Voc. Rehab is paying for college, I want to get relations going with them so they can pay for my semesters at BSU. Out of state fees will be a killer for me.

My dad is pushing me to do that this week. I'm 20, just so you don't think I am a minor.

Now, I am not sure what to do or say when I call them tomorrow. Any advice?!?

Seems like you did a pretty good job explaining the situation here.

"Hi, I'm transferring to BSU from Montana next semester and am calling to start transferring my voc. rehab services from out of state."

I wouldn't worry too much about the long distance charges... any business that's paying by the minute for long distance today is being mismanaged.
