My autism shows up with intolerance to milk, ibs, ADHD, gluten allergy and difficulty writing etc.
I was suffering lower back pain and muscular pain around my shoulders and neck. I researched my symptoms on the internet and found someone recomnmending boron.
I researched boron and found that you had to have a salad of chemicals. Vitamin D and K2 along with calcium, magnesium and potassium. You need calcium to grab and magnesium to relax the muscles.
I ordered some borax from Ebay and mixed a liter of water. I get K2 from a couple of eggs in the morning and go for a walk in the sun for the D. I can get a massive dose of magnesium from a conch meal or eating avocados.
The first thing that I noticed was when we went to Bon for a frozen yoghurt. My teeth were not sensitive to the cold at all.
You have to be careful as it is taken up in minute quantities in the body. I was obviously not absorbing it well so I took twice the recommended dose - 6mg.
It takes quite a while to permeate the body (months) but I started to sleep better and dream. The pain in my muscles went gradually. I tried doing pushups and I got to 20 quite quickly.
For a complete test, my wife and I went to a monument near here with lots of steps. We bounded up the first two flights and I took the last in steps of three. My wife described it like we floated up. We had got our muscles working properly.
I just wrote a letter and it went easily. It is legible and I realised that the muscles in my hands had been affected too.
I started to get Deputrens Contracture when I was in my 30s. I was so young they didn't know what it was. Apparently boron helps with this.
When I was at school I wondered why my fingernails kept breaking easily. My nails are long now for the first time and I have to keep cutting them.
I think that I am not absorbing boron from my food. This is affecting my parathyroid which directs the right quantities of minerals to the bones and muscles.
I broke my foot recently jumping back from a tarantula in the bedroom. It broke quite easily so I am hoping that my bones are affected as well as my muscles.
Someone remarked on my age the other day saying that I looked significantly younger than I am. He asked what I was taking and I recommended boron as I noticed a change to my skin also.
My memory is enhanced. I had gotten to the stage when I opened up a tab to google something and I forgot what it was.
My bloodtype is A pos. That means that I have less stomach acid than other blood types. I am going to get some HCL from the vitamin store and see if that helps.
This might help someone as my symptoms are quite common. It will save them from years of fatigue and reduce their oddness somewhat. We both feel calmer. I am normally anxious about everything.

Interesting.

I wonder what exactly boron does in the body?

I also wonder if your muscles relaxing & anxiety dissipating may be more related to your increased magnesium intake.

I've done a LOT with natural medicine over the last few years to treat my symptoms with life changing success. If you'd like to read about it, I can email a text file if you pm me an email address. I shared it here on the forums in January of 2014 but most people did not believe me. I'm literally living a second life for having learned and done what I have. Anyways, yeah, if you'd care to read it - get in touch.
