There are some days that I don't even want eye contact with the guy in the mirror.
Anyone else find this ?

My eye contact's pretty close to normal, particularly with a pretty girlie - but if it's someone who's hard work, I find myself limiting it.

The strange thing is that since I became aware of eye-contact issues and realise that I avoided it during a brief encounter (under 5 secs), I feel that I haven't actually addressed a human being.

I don't want eye contact with myself in the mirror let alone anyone else, if I want to look at someone, I might or I might not. If you needed a mirror in a hurry in my place, you would have to go upstairs to the family dressing room, I won't have a wall mirror in my own room.

I connect better to my reflection than I can to other people. I am sorta a canary as far as mirrors go.

Like I said on a different thread:

Quote:
If I look at my own eyes (in the mirror) for too long, I go into a sort of trance-like state that is very hard to snap out of. My vision grays around the edges...

That's the only real reason why I try to avoid looking into my own eyes.
