Do you feel like a sidekick?

AH! I can't sleep until I post this, I have never felt like the main character or a leader type and always felt like a sidekick and related to other sidekicks. I liked Tails more instead of Sonic, I liked Robin more instead of Batman. I still really like Sonic and Batman, don't get me wrong but it's the sidekicks that I feel more connected with. Does anyone else feel this way?

I remember a conversation with a NT coworker on this very topic a number of years ago. We thought it was really interesting that the most fun tv characters often were the sidekicks. And occasionally (eg Frasier) sidekick spinoffs are pretty good shows which get a long run. And we both felt like the quirky sidekick in a workplace sitcom, although we had trouble figuring out who was the main character.

Please Tails, as a living breathing sidekick, could you tell us more of your adventurers in Sonic? How do you feel about Knuckles and who do you feel is higher in this heirachy? Where does Shadow fit in? Did Earth affect this chain of command in any way, was it different on Mobius? Does it change with the enemies you face?

(Oh-hoho don't get me started... :twisted: ) Weeell, Knuckles is a great guy, but he's a bit of a loner and not very talkative. A lifetime alone on a floating island with only a giant green rock for company will probably do that to you... Sonic is awesome, but you knew that already, I'm sure! Not only is he the fastest and coolest guy around, but he's also a really great friend. My best friend in the world, actually. Shadow... Shadow is supposedly the 2nd most popular after Sonic, but I don't like him. He's just too moody and depressing for me. Luckily I haven't encountered him around here recently? As for Mobius... Mobius is actually a future Earth, so it's not too much different! Just roll up all of the pollution and fighting and hate in the world and you've got Eggman 8O

I laughed so hard reading this, I love tails and no one has ever interviewed him that I know of.

I never did like shadow even though after the sidekick I look to the villain or dark hero as my next favorite. I loved reading your posts, you roleplay Miles so well.
