I do. I'm embarrassed about my negative/depressive thoughts/feelings/talk/behavior.

She's a very unique person. a new username could not disguise the person she is inside.

Do you mean with regard to WP or your life in general?

Never be embarrassed about your feelings, as it's ok to feel down just as it's ok to feel happy. Being embarrassed is a waste of energy as no-one else knows what is going on in your head so won't be judging you anywhere as hard as you do yourself.

Now I'm in my thirties I've put embarrassment, shame and guilt into a box marked 'do not open' and shelved them in my brain. Next to the 'trying to trying to keep everyone happy', and 'pretending to be normal' boxes. It was a happy day when I finally tidied them all away. :D

when ever I move from one city to another I change my name and my hair color and start all over again. Only after about 18 months it starts to buckle under and I start to lose my balance with keeping all the social situations, the people that have gotten close, the job, the bills and by three years ( at the most) I have to move again and start all over. I have done this for over 30 years and always wondered why. I always was me, eventually.

I even see it happening here, too.

Nothing wrong with an occasional paradigm shift.

It doesn't sound like a bad idea, but I'm afraid my awkwardness would still shine through.
