Funding for the Family Clinic is provided by grants from the Illinois Department of Human Services, matching funds from UIC, and third party payments form Medicaid, Medicare, and private insurers. A sliding fee scale is used to determine the amounts of any payments from recipients of services. However, no one is turned away on the basis of inability to pay.
