New Adult Autism Spectrum Group in Bakersfield?

My doctor called and asked if I'd be interested in participating in a new adult autism spectrum group. I am undecided, mostly because I am still undecided where I am on the spectrum or even if I'm on the spectrum. An AA-like meeting of super-geniuses comparing notes on how young they were when they first built a computer holds less than no interest for me. Nor am I interested in simply rehashing the common knowledge: "I don't get along with people or do well in social situations". I kinda think that kinda thing is a given.
Pros? Cons?
Thoughts?
