I have a collection of just some of the organizations and websites which include "without borders" in their names under the third category on this page:

http://associations.publicsociology.com

"Without borders" sites, beginning with "Doctors without Borders," promote a global orientation to a subject (whatever it is).

It occurred to me that a good name for an autism-related website or group would be: Autistics without Borders. (If I were not already using "League to Fight Neurelitism," I would register it myself.)

Most "without borders" websites use the .org TLD (top-level domain). However, autisticswithoutborders, org, .com, .net, .info, etc. are all available.

Hopefully, this suggestion will be useful to someone.

For domain registration (and redirection), I personally recommend this place:

What a great suggestion! I'm sure someone will use it at some point.

I think an organization that actually took a global approach including pragmatic action and development of local networks that are integrated to a well resourced and powerful whole is a great idea. This would obviously require a great deal more than just registering a web-site name, but it's good to see others seem to think a globally orientated approach is desirable.

I think it could also be an online network which encouraged global solidarity among autistics.

nominalist, your idea is brilliant.
I have forwarded your idea to autistic activists who may put it into practice.

Thank you very much. ;-) I have also posted the suggestion on the Autism Hub discussion list.
