Do you feel like Alan Partridge in social settings, a bit tongue in cheek this but the social faux pas are real.

Yes, Alan Partidge is a genuinely classic comic character. I've tried to explain to my American wife what he's about and failed miserably. I think he's a UK-only phenomenon and always will be, though i did see I'm Alan Partridge Series 1 DVD at Blockbuster here in Sacramento a few months ago.
